Adam Fane
Adam Fane was born and raised in the Ivory Coast. He migrated to the United States in 2014 at the age of 17. Adam recently earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Economics at John Jay College with honors. As a civil war survivor who underwent ethnic oppression due to his family’s political beliefs, Adam was inspired to speak for the unheard through law. During his time in college, Adam served as the John Jay student council treasurer and a financial officer on his college president’s leadership council from 2019 to 2020. Furthermore, Adam is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first Black intercollegiate fraternity, which has continuously engaged in the mission of uplifting communities of color. As a result of these commitments, Adam has been able to assist judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and various lawmakers in their endeavors to achieve fair economic and social justice for all people. Under the tutelage of Honorable Francois A. Rivera, Adam has recently published a legal opinion cited in the New York Law Journal.
