Shannon Sciaretta graduated summa cum laude from John Jay College, majoring in International Criminal Justice and minoring in Human Rights. Before law school, Shannon was a Ronald H. Brown Bridge Intern at Paul Hastings LLP. She received a full-tuition merit-based scholarship to attend Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she was the top of her class and earned positions on the Moot Court Board and law review. After her first year, she transferred to University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she is currently a 2L. Recently, she was elected as Editor-in-Chief of the Berkeley Journal of International Law and earned a summer associate’s position at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.
